High students will participate in a Mock Legislative Session at the State House where they get to vote on a bill relevant to young people followed by the signing of a proclamation by Governor Dan McKee and a panel with elected officials. Students then take part in a JA Job Shadow with local leaders.

40th Annual Achieve-A-Bowl
This year, Junior Achievement’s annual bowlathon, Achieve-A-Bowl, falls during the weekend after the Education Awareness Week programs. Led by Junior Achievement of Rhode Island, Achieve-A-Bowl, brings together companies from across the state for a fun-filled bowling event at Lang's Bowlarama. All the proceeds raised at this event support Junior Achievement’s vision of providing more young people with the skill set and mindset to build thriving communities with programs like Education Awareness Week.
