Junior Achievement Programs

The goal of Junior Achievement's educational programs is to provide students with practical economic education and learning experiences. Our services include financial literacy, work & career readiness, and entrepreneurship programs that are taught by volunteers in classrooms and after-school settings across Rhode Island and in over 100 countries worldwide. The programs can be used to augment school-based, work-based, and connecting activities for communities with school-to-work initiatives.

Traditional JA programs are offered in one-hour sessions over a series of weeks, depending on the program. Five weeks for elementary programs, six weeks for middle school programs, and seven weeks for high school programs (not including semester-long, capstone, job shadow, or blended-learning programs). A "JA in a Day" format is also available where the five-session elementary school program is delivered in one day.
