JA Be Entrepreneurial (Grades 9- 12)
By developing the essential components of a business plan, JA Be Entrepreneurial challenges students to start an entrepreneurial venture while still in high school.
JA Career Success (Grades 9 - 12)
JA Career Success equips students with the tools and skills required to earn and keep a job in high-growth career industries.
JA Company Program (Grades 9 - 12) - kit based
JA Company Program puts theory to practice by as students develop their own money-making business from concept to business plan, financing, execution, sales and ultimately, growth or demise. The experience fosters understanding and appreciation of the opportunities and responsibilities each person has in the workplace.
NEW - JA Company Program (Grades 9 - 12) - blended
JA Company Program unlocks the innate ability in students to fill a need or solve a problem in their community by launching a business venture—unleashing their entrepreneurial spirit. Each of the program’s 13 meetings is divided into a Company Ops and Deeper Dive activity. The Company Ops is that portion of the meeting during which students build and manage their business. During the Deeper Dive, students work individually or in groups to take a closer look at a business-related topic.
JA Economics (Grades 9- 12)
JA Economics reinforces concepts of micro- and macro-economics by having students explore the basic characteristics of the U.S. economic system and how economic principles influence business decisions. JA Economics is a one-semester course and is recommended for students in grades 11 and 12. Instructional materials include textbooks and study guides. JA Company Program and JA Titan are supplementary programs.
JA Exploring Economics (Grades 9- 12)
JA Exploring Economics fosters lifelong skills and knowledge about how our economy works including micro, macro, personal and international economics.
JA Personal Finance (Grades 9- 12)
JA Personal Finance introduces students to the importance of making wise financial decisions. The program demonstrates the importance of planning, goal setting, and thoughtful decision-making within the context of personal financial decisions. Five required, volunteer-led sessions. Twenty-four additional teacher-led sessions available.
